Oh gosh, Black Friday... one of my friends worked a graveshift that day once. Like, the night before it started leading into the next day, and this was like.. her first job, and it was retail. I felt so bad. I never go out on Black Friday. Sometimes going to the game stores in the mall tempt me, though. Cheap video games.

For someone who usually dislikes crowds, I enjoy going to malls on Black Friday, even if I don't end up buying anything. These past few years—and this year, too—I'll be in Myrtle Beach. It's pretty fun~

However, I still wish corporations would stop pushing back their BF sales start time and actually start them on BF and not on Thanksgiving. I feel bad for the employees who want to spend time with their families but can't because they have to work retail :s

I try hard to avoid Black Friday, despite my job staying open that day. That day is evil. Always brings out the worst in shoppers, I have seen people break out into a fight over a CD, and back when I wasn't working, a VCR, which was 3 years ago lol. Cyber Monday is much better imo.

Oh my god... Black Friday is insane. :( I went out one year, and after hearing about how someone died being trampled on that day, I've had second thoughts. u_u

Black Fridays, like Pala said, are insanity. I should know, I've worked in a few retail stores here and there, the current one being Home Depot. I'm told most of the madness happens during the very early hours of the morning through the early afternoon, So I haven't gotten any shifts involving that just yet.. but you never know. Pretty sure I'll be able to handle it though, when it rolls around.

I've tried to do Black Friday shopping online and usually I leave empty-handed. Amazon's deals usually aren't all that great and only once or twice did I buy something (The Dark Knight on DVD and the 300 movie on Blu-ray). Most of the time it's junk that's been around for quite a while already.

Steam on the other hand... wow, just shop for games there instead!

I've participated in Black Friday once. NEVER. AGAIN. My local GameStop has great deals but no one like camps out in front for them so it's not like you have anything ridiculous. Just watch out for the crazies from the Walmart next door.

I might go to the bookstore on Black Friday, though! Books stores are of a dying breed because Nooks came into existence. I'm wondering if Barnes and Nobel will even have a sale? @_@ We'll have to see.

I work at a book store lmao. Well, it sells a bunch of books..and comics, and CDs/Records and comics and games and movies and nerd merch...basically it is a giant nerd heaven. I wish for books to never die.
