I have a Liger Zero toy from the old Zoids cartoon in my room. It was one of Jakob's old toys and he brought it down here and left it like 8 years ago. I threatened to dispose of it over and over again in order to incite Jakob to take it back but to no avail. In time, it would roar at unexpected, often timely moments and in a strange way I became attached to it. Then one day Jayce broke it and it no longer roars. So today Jayce told me to fix it. I hesitated and said that I don't know how, so he told me to take it to the toy shop and fix it. For kicks, I googled toy shops that will fix broken toys and found something. Evidently, "Donny" runs a Toy Repair Shop on the peak of Terror Mountain to fix toys for any Neopian who visits him. I don't know what a Neopian is nor do I know Donny, but evidently I need to make a trip to Terror Mountain. Now to look up directions to Terror Mountain.
Sounds like an epic quest. May the force be with you

Art itself is tough and a lot of hard work. Ever changing in the way the artists want to express a character. Taking hours and hours. Months and sometimes years to perfect. Even then the appearance and expressions will be ever changing. Especially come new characters of creation. As the characters grow, so may their appearance and expressions.
I'm sure with time you'll perfect t in your vision, Neko. Even if it's not the way you may want it. I think it's REALLY awesome! Your work and art style are really amazing and unique! The expressions and physical alpearance of your characters are amazing. Giving these dragons their own nature. Not all dragons are supposed to look angry or evil and aggressive. Some could be really gentle and caring. It's the artists design and creation that depicts it all in the mind of the viewers and the artists themselves.
To me, it looks really awesome, Neko. Like Neo said I see no anatomy issues either.
The time is upon us...

Yeah, the reason I keep putting Nightfall off is I want to wait until I'm artistically ready/capable of doing it to the quality I want. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm closer than ever before! I'm getting more and more content with the character designs, so I'm looking forward to the day I get to shift most of my free time to Nightfall instead of PRS- which has been a great learning experience and practice for future projects!
I've got a few concepts for Nightfall characters laying about. They're fun to work on. Trying to get the personality of the character in is the hardest part- I want their appearance to reflect who they to an extent without being too cliche about it.
As for anatomy- it's more just refining it than correcting it right now. Proportions, etc. I think for the most part, the anatomy I've got going is fine with my style! A little practice will help with any weirdness, but so far so good! I'm so excited to get working on Nightfall, but I need to be patient with it. xD My excitedness makes me rush in without planning enough too often.
Haha yeah I just want to wait until I have more time.
I've been kind of in panic mode when it comes to job searching. Last week, 32 job applications. Week before, 23 job applications. Week before that, 23 job applications again. And it's official, I've been unemployed for a full year now. The longer it takes to get something, the worse it gets because hiring managers look down upon people that have been unemployed for a while and it starts raising questions about why no one wants to hire you.
And I have NO IDEA what I'm doing wrong either. I've had great interviews and I've had the experience needed for the positions I'm applying to. I've been complimented on my background experience and I've had great feedback from recruiters about the interviews I've had. I've even be willing to take lower pay rates that what I was making earlier just to have something. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. :c
