I actually I have no idea how to play the game I just like collecting the cards.

It's just OK. There's a lot of cheesy gimmicks, but it's not bad. If fact playing the video games will probably help you learn how to play the actual card game much faster when you let the game calculate all the nonsense for you.

But if you really want to get into card games, I'd recommend Magic much more. But that makes your wallet lighter, also. :P

I gave up on YuGiOh back when GX was ending. Never really got into MTG. I got into Cardfight Vanguard a bit ago, still have my shadow paladin deck and other decks.

5ds though was amazing. It's yu-gi-oh on motorcycles.
