We've gotten a little snow, much less than past years, though. I live in the south, but the mountains used to get us a decent amount. Winter has been really mild the past few years, but this Summer was REALLY wet, raining probably 4 or 5 days a week on average. I've heard expectations for an awful Winter, but it hasn't reared its head yet!

We got our first decent amount of snow fall today by getting 6-7 inches.

You bet'cha. If last week had been snow instead of ice (with what little ice there was being the rate of snow) we would have had a snow day or two. :P

I've never seen snow of my life. Never. I would love to tbh.

Snow is nice on Christmas Day and that's about it. It can be chaotic any other time.

I'm glad it hasn't snowed yet. We had this amazing summer leading into mid-end October with heat/mildness but it's snowed once this winter.
But this happened in 2010 when it got really bad in Feb because Dec 2009 was pretty mild/warm. I remember -21c at night so all the pipes froze and I had to shower at my sisters for a week because my house (at the time) had pipes outside.

Also winter 2011 was pretty good until early 2012.
Winter 2011 was windy as heck (we had a cyclone, I remember my bin outside blew away like half a mile and my friends and I went out to get it back in the wind) and this winter is pretty windy :s

I honestly don't want to see any more snow. It's taken up residence in our town, and it won't go away. It was nice at first, but then it decided to call it's friends, and now everything is covered in snow that usually goes up to your knees or higher. Also, it rained a lot. That doesn't help. At all.
