Never played Earthbound either, unfortunately. ): Though, I did hear people talk about it a lot when I was younger.

You can get Mother 1, too? That makes me want the Wii U more. xD

Also, you two should try it sometime if you know someone who still has a cart of it. Or watch a video on it. c: It's one of those silly games...that's an RPG...
