No yeah, I whole-heartedly agree about there being great games that don't rely on good graphics. Older games that are still fun reflect this, I think.

Yeah, I never finished Dust: An Elysian Tail, Skyrim, The Walking Dead (that game just makes me nervous XD), and all the Bioshock games (and Bioshock was good, but whew, very long). State of Decay is awesome and I like how the map is randomized, but the only issue is... the map gets stale once you know all the ins and outs of it. If you were able to begin a new game and there were more maps to choose from, lordy, that game would have almost endless replay value.

Yeah, I don't know, I just found it's not an easy game to get into. Fallout got me into the habit of scavenging around for goodies in dungeons and stuff, but Skyrim often doesn't give you enough rewards and treasure to make all the trouble you went through worth it. I think this is why Legend of Zelda does it better, because you know you're guaranteed at least one useful weapon, item, or reward for each temple or thing you explore, whereas in Skyrim, you take out half a platoon of enemies, avoid a million booby traps, and finally get to the end of the dungeon after a few hours of playing only to discover... oh, 25 gold and extra copies of the sword and shield I already have. There's been times when I thought I hadn't reached the end of the dungeon when I had.

So... yeah, eventually I drifted out of it and moved onto other games.

Yeah, the only drawback with Zelda is you already know what you're getting and what they do. You already know you're in for a bow, hookshot, rock-lifting gauntlets, and stuff like that which carries from game to game. Yeah, I haven't been able to get into the newer LoZ games lately, which is weird because I used to love them. The tough thing was if you wanted to try and go for 100% completion and find all the heart pieces and stuff like that. Whew, good luck, that involves a heck of a lot of poking around every nook and cranny.
