I'm pretty sure they don't. Students wouldn't get refunded that money either, of course.

Oh, I had plenty of that. I had an economics professor that didn't even show up to administer the final exam. The whole class was laughing about it and we made our own attendance sheet that said "We were here, where were you?" in case the dean questioned what happened. She then tried to administer it as a take home exam and told us "not to refer to any person or book." Additional laughs were had.

I'm not surprised, she was screwy all semester long but this was definitely the icing on an already mountainous cake.

I'll admit my macroeconomics professor was actually a pretty decent guy. At least everything he said made sense and his exams were fair. I think the only cancellations we had were because of snow days.
