Was mucking around, got really inspired by this tutorial. Wanted to try more realistic pixel art, starting with...well, a fruit. A mangosteen, to be exact.
It consists of 32 colors. First realistic pixel art, I've got a long way to go / a lot to learn. Tried to use 50/50 dithering to help the colors blend...hmm. Oh, right: this image was my reference. I still need to add the second mangosteen there. Anti-aliased to fit well on a white / light-colored background, I will probably end up changing that....
Edit: now has an even 32 colors. A little smoother there on the highlight....
