Nope, I've never heard of it. The only video game Locke I know of is the thief treasure hunter from Final Fantasy VI. Coincidentally, he's my favourite character from FFVI, though Setzer comes in a close second (how can a gambler who owns an airship with a built-in casino and casts spells with a slot machine be anything less!?).

But on to my real favourite video game characters:

Meta Knight (most Kirby games): He was actually a mentor of sorts to me when I was taking martial arts. I love how mysterious he is in the games, yet how obviously heroic yet chivalrous in helping Kirby out in the anime. Plus I really like swords overall, and he can do so many different things with his own. I like how some Kirby games let you play through the whole game (or an abbreviated version of it) as Meta Knight, and how he's the only character who doesn't need a vehicle to race in Kirby Air Ride (he just flies around like a boss).

Lucca (Chrono Trigger): She's the video game character who is most like myself. I'm a scientist-in-training who also holds a strong belief in magic; Lucca is totally for science and also uses fire magic. Sure, there are other science girls and inventors in other video games, but none are as interesting character-wise as she is in my opinion. The fact that she's from a really great game helps even more. In fact, I can list just about every main character in Chrono Trigger as my favourite, they're all interesting. (Except Crono and Marle, that is. They're just meh.)

Marisa Kirisame (most Touhou games): I have a very high opinion of witches in general. Except for the truly wicked ones, but Marisa is anything but (really, no Touhou characters are even remotely evil). She is definitely mischievous though, and that combined with her knack for stealing things and her modesty about being an "ordinary magician" puts her on my top favourite list. I've never actually played any Touhou games, but once I do, I know I'll be playing as Marisa whenever I can.
