You head over to Ferris's house and it's clear the Pignite doesn't take very good care of this property at all. As one of the few Pokémon that owns their own home and doesn't rent an apartment, you definitely feel he could do a whole lot better. Renovations are badly needed, especially with the mason work and a lot of the wooden fixtures, beams, fences, frames, molding, and doors either need sealant or need to be replaced entirely.

Not to mention Ferris leaves a lot of junk around. His rusty tractor, which hasn't been used in likely over a decade, looks well beyond repair and belongs in a scrap heap. There's also the rusty husk of a car that you can't imagine why anyone would want to keep around. Beyond that, Ferris leaves a lot of hardware and outdoor tools outside to just lay around everywhere and be subject to the elements. And to top that all off, there's garbage, scrap, debris, and other piles of junk all over the place. As you search the exterior, there's just an overabundance of junk. While searching around the back, you find a black feather that probably dropped off of a bird Pokémon. You look it over and wonder if maybe this is a Stalker's feather. It's worth a try, so you take it with you.

Pokémon Sample [Black Feather] has been added to the Team Inventory.

You then brace yourself and head inside. As you expected, the things you saw on the outside reflect what you see in the interior.

The foyer is outright disgusting. There's dirt everywhere and most of it was tracked in from those walking in from the front door that Ferris never bothered to clean up after. Only two out of the five lights in the chandelier actually work and the tacky pea-soup colored wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. It also really smells and stinks of alcohol and manure. You get to the living room, where Ferris has magazines, catalogs, newspapers, and books in piles and stacks like paper skyscrapers. Junky knick-knacks are also all over the place as well.

As you look around the piles of junk, floor, and furniture, you feel something doesn't seem right, but you can't quite put your paw on it. Normally one would think Ferris is a slob and is the only one who lives here, but you see some other kind of pattern going on with the disturbances in the dusty, crumb-caked carpet, as if someone else has been here besides Ferris and he's not aware of it. You have trouble tracking it, but maybe someone who can observe it from another standpoint might be able to figure out what exactly is the reason for this.

Objective {Mysterious Living Room: <Science>} has been noted in the Team Records.

You decide to check the kitchen, and... you kind of wish you hadn't. You figure Ferris still hasn't realized his refrigerator is no longer working but that hasn't stopped him from stuffing it with obviously perishable items. Well, at least you know where the smell is coming from. Only two out of the four burners of his stove still work, and the light flickers in kind of a creepy way.

His bathroom is oddly wet for reasons you aren't quite sure, and there's water damage in many locations. The toilet seat is broken, the tiles are popping out of the floor, and the sink still drips no matter how tight you try to turn the knob. Meanwhile, Ferris's bedroom is a complete junkyard. You can tell this is where Ferris eats his meals right on his soiled, unmade bed in front of the television when really he shouldn't. It also looks like food he ate two weeks ago is still sitting around in here.

You feel you'd seen more than enough and you kind of wonder if you'd like to go back to seeing bloody nails and unfinished blood rituals again as opposed to seeing something like this again...
