What bothers me the most about the FCC ruling is Ajit Pai's attitude about it. He's making videos mocking people for being upset with him with regards to the whole net neutrality thing and that's really low and shameful. He's treating the whole thing like it's a funny joke to him and there are people legitimately trying to get him to be reasonable and understanding about this. As a result, it's made a lot of people very angry and I've seen quite a few death threats and talks about assassination on him. I don't think he deserves to die, but he's playing an extremely dangerous game with people and he's got to realize that if he hits the breaking point of just one very skilled and very angry person, that could be the end for him and it's putting his family in danger as well.

I'll admit, I've always swayed a bit more toward the Republican side, but after today, geez, I was disgusted by the Republican members of the FCC and the way they mocked and harassed the Democratic members who voiced very legitimate concerns. I can't support any party that behaves that way and this goes so against what I believe in. I really feel just outright betrayed by these people.

Net neutrality isn't dead yet though. People keep looking over the fact that the FCC doesn't get the final say in this, Congress does. So if it bothers you that much contact your local Congressmen and tell them that you don't want Net Neutrality to be repealed. Hopefully they'll listen.

Oh man, I did that weeks ago, but yeah, there are a ton of sites raising awareness for it. I first saw the info on Imgur (and they really want Ajit's head on a pike right now) and they provided a ton of handy ways to do it quickly and effectively. I got a very generic response that seemed like a copy and paste, but at least it's something.

I sincerely hope Congress shuts down every last attempt to repeal net neutrality. I agree with a lot of other people when they say the internet should be treated like a utility like gas, water, and electricity. But yeah, thankfully the war isn't over.

Yeah, no kidding. Other countries like Canada, Australia, and the UK are watching this junk unfold and they don't get it either.

We are totally NOT the best in the world. A lot of jokers in Washington seem to feel they're totally okay making this country look like a circus in front of the rest of the world just so they can further pad their pockets with money under the table. Every day they feel like spinning a wheel to see what freedoms they should try taking away next. This isn't a democracy, this is a hostage situation.

The funny thing is I don't know why they do this crap if they know the next president will most likely undo what they "worked" so hard to do for the past 4 years. Trump is just undoing everything because he's nothing more than a d**k who feels like if it's not his idea it should be gotten rid of.
