Tell us it that this equation means you put this number here and by doing that you take this number and it means you move his number here here and here, do this and then PEMDAS as usual. Ah, PEMDAS was only the tip of the iceberg. That's really just the slap in the face you get at the front entrance of algebra hell.

My boss who is a scientist said she took high-level math classes as electives. That's something I wouldn't even dream of doing, but my guess is she must have had some really good teachers that knew how to communicate the material across in ways that most people would understand.
