Eire sounds too much like Ireland. I get the meaning, but IDK. Just my two cents.

Also, I know it's Ireland and not Australia, but a wombat Pokemon is needed.

What we could do is we could have the main based off Ireland, but like they did with Unova, embellish a bit, so we could add a desert area that may contain outback-like animals?
OMG that would be amazing. After we have all the concepts for everything done, we can start looking into the things we need to create to get everything ready for a game to be made.

After we have the name decided, I think what will be best is if we split off into groups so we can handle the work better and then use this thread for all the important decisions that all of us can have an input on.
I think the teams should be:
The Art Taskforce (Creating all art for pokemon)
The Description Taskforce (Creating Dex descriptions for all Pokemon)
The Region taskforce (Creating the region maps, towns and routes. Also creating NPCs, Gym leaders, rivals etc.

when that's done, for it to work as a game, we would then need to change up groups again so we can get everything done we need.
The Battle Taskforce (Movesets and stats. If we create a new type, work out how that fits in)
The Visual taskforce (Make sure all sprites are ready for ingame use)
The story Taskforce (Creating the story for our region and how the game will progress)
The programming Taskforce (Programming the game)

What do you guys think?

When we got those done, we'd can do final checks, such as us playing it before we announce it on the forum to make sure there's no mistakes/bugs that we have accidentally created and maybe coming up with any materials such as banners etc. Then when we have our fully functional game, everyone on the forum can then become the Pokemon Master of our region. This is so exiting!

Sounds good! I think I have a RPG game framework somewhere in my projects, so I'll take a look at that.

EDIT: Is it cool if my framework has online multiplayer?

Just so long as the main story can also be done solo too--but it is nice to have the option to party up.

I second that. multiplayer features would be great, but as long as they're either optional or something so everyone can get the experience they want.

So, we now need to decide on the name. (Not sure how to set up a second poll because the first doesn't seem to have any ways to be removed) Any ideas?

Also, what taskforces would people prefer to be sorted into. When we have the taskforces, I will create a thread for each one where they can then do the work they need to do in an organised way. My preferred taskforce would be the Art taskforce, but if everyone wants that and there's not enough for region, i'll join the region taskforce. I've edited the Original Post so it's more organised, shows a basic description of our region that will be expanded as we decide on our stuff and have useful links (That we will soon create) and have the taskforce lists.
