    Not to mention in Final Fantasy XII you could easily miss the best weapon in the game due to this.

    Ohh, that happens a lot in many Final Fantasy games. But the good thing is most Final Fantasy games are still beatable even if you miss these, it's just a little harder.

    But yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've gotten too far into a game only to realize YAY, I missed some crazy good item and I have to choose between starting over and trying to get it or just continuing without it.
