Pokemon GOes Retro for April Fools

Just in time for April 1st, Niantic have given the Pokemon GO graphics a fresh new look.
Pokemon sprites have been “updated” to glorious 8-bit in the Pokemon menu, Pokedex and wild Pokemon radar. The sprites are resized versions of those used in the main series Pokemon games.

Experience Pokémon GO like never before with cutting-edge 8-BIT GRAPHICS! Registering approximately twice the definition of 4K, the chunky squares of each pixel provide realistic detail and unbelievable definition. Your Pokédex will feel lifelike in ways previously unimagined on any handheld device ever created.
Though it is an April Fools joke, many trainers like the change and are hoping Niantic will make it a permanent option in future. What do you think?

I actually like this change. They should make it an option. :D

The only downside is the Pikachu variants not having their hats, but that's a price I'd be willing to pay. :3
