Storms! Do you fear them?

I love them, actually. Usually when it storms I go outside and find a nice place to enjoy it. I'm not religious but storms are as close as I get to feeling anything divine in day to day life. Or maybe I'm just a weirdo

I'm fine with storms for the most part. But if there's a really bad one outside, I'll take reactions. To paraphrase a fanfic I read once, I'm not a coward (when it comes to that), but I'm not going to stick myself in the fire to see if I burn.

I'm like Zodiac, I love lightning storms, I have no Idea why, I just feel relaxed when there's thunder and lightning

Well, I dislike storms in every way. Why? I always fear, even though I'm pretty sure this'll never happen, that a giant lighting bolt will strike the forestry about 100 feet from my house, spread, and burn everything. I'm not quite sure how I got this fear, maybe just the paranoia of television and the internet. But unless the storm is raging outside, I'm fine with it. Usually, I just play computer games or go on Showdown and just do whatever.

Average thunderstorms don't scare me, but tornadoes do. I was 11 when I experienced my first one. My family and I just stood in front of the glass door (smart right?) and watched trees being uprooted like dominoes no more than 70ft in front of us. Well, silhouettes of trees - you really can't see much when the super strong wind is blowing rain everywhere.

But yeah, not wanting to experience that again. XD It's a miracle our house survived.

I love them. They're just so... Exhilarating. There was one just two days ago, actually, and I had to be out side at the particular moment when it hit. The rain was practically horizontal, and after being out there for about thirty seconds, I was thoroughly soaked, and was shivering for practically the rest of the day (That makes you way more sore than you would think.) The wind was so harsh I was almost blown over at one point, and you know what? I spend the whole time cackling like a madman.

I love storms too. I find the fact that nature can hold such power really inspiring, and the sounds of the rain and thunder and wind are really soothing to me. Lightning's really cool to watch as well, but it does make me a tiny bit nervous. Once my friend's house got hit by lightning and the television blew up and set the house on fire, so now I always unplug everything in my room when there's a thunderstorm!

I absolutely loathe storms. I just hate them. I've never really been a big fan of thunderstorms. I can live with the losing power part of them 'cause I can do other things besides lurk the internets, but the rest just no.

Wind & rain I can deal with. I don't mind that part. Throw in some thunder & lightning, & I'm like "LOL NOPE. BYE."

I absolutely love storms. I usually pull out my lawn chair and kick back, letting the rain beat down against my cloths, it's probably one of the greatest feelings in the entire world. Not to mention the rain makes you feel so one with the planet and all it's inhabitants; It's like you are one with nature all again, like a sprout taking root and growing to be a tall oak or a red wood.

Now I just sound like a hippy.

Okay so I know this thread is a year old but we are getting some really bad storms here in Michigan right now. And it seems like the more I talk about it with people the better I seem to feel. Right now I've got some really bad anxiety because I have a huge fear of them.
