Fears

I was brave enough at the beach to go swimming in the water with my cousin, but when I heard fish appeared, I was afraid that I might damage the fish. I was told that they are more afraid of me than I am of them. This was in August at a beach I went to in Hawaii. I don't know my any other fears. Some of my fears have been resolved.

Deep water and heights are what scare me the most. I won't go swimming in an area that's at least more than 10 feet or so deep, I don't think I can take it. ~___~

I have...
Emetophobia.
Sever fear of vomit and/or vomitting.

It's terrible and I wish I didn't have it. Someone so much as looks sick I avoid them like the plague and if they ARE sick I gotta leave or I'll have a panic attack.

It's not the vomit itself or even how it looks when someone vomits, its the SOUND.
If you vomit quietly, I'm perfectly fine.
If you vomit loudly, you will not see me until you are better.

Alright, i said a while ago my biggest fear was time and change, but i have one more fear that rivals if not surpasses that fear: Going blind.

Topophobia - Fear of certain places or situations, such as stage fright.
Metrophobia - Fear or hatred of poetry. (mostly hatred)

Like you I don't like that either. Other than that, I actually like getting scared once in a while. One of the fears I have is probably Mothman. I was introduced to Mothman when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade and he was horrifying then. Now I've even taught myself how to draw him and now I think he is pretty awesome, but if I actually saw him I would probably pass out.

Fears? The great and mighty DarkNerd has no fears!
Besides dolls. And bees. And wasps. And heights. And needles. And most sharp objects. And failure. And my mother.
Dolls comes from parents forcing me to watch the Chucky movies since I was in diapers as well as constantly telling me if I played with my toys after my bedtime, they'd come to life and kill me. Might also explain my fear of my mother. Which is why I fear failure.
My fear of bees comes from being stung by one in the neck as a child.
It was not a favorable experience. And since wasps are eviler bees, I just said a flat out NOPE.
Everything else is relatively common.

However, I don't fear spiders at all. I usually crush them with a napkin, unless I know 100% they're not posionous. In which case, finger smash, here I come.

I wage a constant battle with a fear of heights. You'd think with the amount of time I spend on roofs and ladders and walkways I would have stopped being afraid by now, but no. The fences are too short for me to feel comfortable. I want something that goes up to my neck, not my hip.

I'm afraid of the dark. YES, it's a childish fear. But all the memories of all the scary things I've seen occur when I step into a dark room. My GREATEST fear is staring into a mirror in a dark room for a long period of time. I can only stand but look into a mirror for 30 secs in the dark without bursting into tears and running downstairs. I had to actually buy a nightlight and turn all my mirrors facing the other way so i could get to sleep. :/

I was afraid of needles until I had to spend a few days in the hospital three years ago, and had my blood drawn like 17 times. That kinda cured it. XP

I'm afraid of some typical stuff: Failure, people I love dying, tornadoes, end of time coming, etc.

Probably the weirdest fear is that of bedrooms. XP I'm not sure why, but I can't sleep in a bed. I get this huge anxiety feeling and even if I do manage to go to sleep, I subconsciously wake myself up shortly after. Due to this I sleep on the living room couch, and have for two decades. /shrug. (Hotel and hospital beds don't apply for some reason. XD)
