Oh geez that's very dangerous
Oh geez that's very dangerous
I seem to be a magnet for yellow lights. They always seem to ambush me right at that moment where it's hard to decide whether to stop or just keep going. And you have to decide what to do in a mere second.
I really wish there was a digital countdown timer that showed how many seconds of green light there would be before the yellow light turned up. Sometimes crosswalk signals have those and sometimes you can use those to tell when the yellow light is going to come up once that timer hits zero, but they aren't always there and they don't always apply.
Yeah I have those problems too. Yellow lights loooove popping up when I get close. To a point it’s hard to decide to gun it and go or stop. Chose to stop one time only to have the guy behind me think I was going. Only to fly around me and run the red light completely.
Maybe it needs to be more like Japan’s. When the light turns yellow. You’d better stop cause that light only stays yellow for basically the blink of an eye. (Not as long as here my friend told me)

In DC the lights change sooooo fast.
It's strange because usually for every 10 MPH the road has, the yellow light should last 1 second, so a street with 40 MPH should have 4 seconds of yellow light before it goes to red. But it definitely doesn't always seem to be like that.
Nope. I do know in DC they change how long the light lengths are based on how busy it is during that time of day
It still drives me crazy how a light can turn red and force twenty cars to come to a stop to turn green for no one. :P
That's one of those things I hope technology and programming will fix in time, because geez.
Oh geez. I better be ready for DC this fall then. Gonna be rough there. Especially with people all over the world coming there too.
