My plan was to have Eclipse go to High Hrothgar, as Ulfric sent him to kill Silavnis. However I can also have him start in windhelm. Whatever works best for everyone else.

That could work in the sense that's how Eclipse finds out he'd Dragonborn. What about Karliah? We can have it that she and Menora already met up and Menora learns the betrayal of Mercer. That's just an idea I'm throwing out there since I'm going to put my characters where they're needed to have small groups that can eventually form together to bigger ones to help defend Skyrim.

Also do note that DLC content will be added as the roleplay goes on, so we don't need to just focus on the main story of the main game, but can take a side trip down a main story of one of the dlc before continuing the main game's story.

Sounds good. I will have eclipse in windhelm though. The greybeards will hint at him being dragonborn, and it won't be until he kills a dragon that he realises.

Not to mention I'm sure there are other things that can be done without the story limits of the game. Maybe even something completely new.

So he starts in Windhelm then ventures to High Hrothgar? And also would we have it so that Karliah and Menora are about to confront the Guild and on the way they can bump into Sida? Since Menora at that point would probably be the only one other than Brynjolf who would work with her.

That is a good question, and I'm glad you brought it up.

For injuries it will be more realistic. Potions and spells will most definitely help, but it depends on the strength of said potion or spell. Weaker ones help with the pain and slow bleeding, but the wound is no where near completely healed. Where as very high magics can completely heal an injury. Depending on the kind of injury a healing potion is applied to it can be completely healed or at least out of the danger zone if it's the strongest of healing potions. I will try to avoid character death since we all love our characters, but if something happens and the realistic outcome despite all the powerful potions and magics is death then it will happen. But remember, there are spirits walking around so if your character does die then it's possible they can make a cameo later on as a ghost.

Not at all. Go right ahead. You can bring in more characters anytime, even after the RP starts.

Anyway if Sida heard a bit about what troubles were going on in the Thieves Guild, she would be adamant on assisting, member or not [though she might as well be an exclusive regular customer for the amount of times she's visited.]

I second this. Having played Skyrim a lot, still playing actually, I'd be more comfortable with an alternative plot idea. Or at least, leave out the main questline, it's hard to justify all of our characters banding together to defeat Alduin without having internal conflict.
