*grabs books, hoping to chance upon a rare grimoire or tome*

*continues further, continuing to kill guards with the Thunder Edge*

[Ganyu]

*fills open a book to read it, though realizing he has already owned such a copy*

*infuses black mana with the book's essence, converting it into a dark spell-bomb*

[Sir Sivelos]

*SIVELOS, continuing his onslaught of the guards, leaves massive piles of L00T for everyone to pick up behind him. He summons orbs of Lightning, making a bullet hell, wiping out more guards. SIVELOS seems a bit bored.*

[The Nonexistent Tazz]

*It might be because half of the 'guards' are noncombat librarians.*

*In any case, Tazz finds a highly powerful magical tome, one he and Ecrivain both possess already. He throws it towards Sivelos without actually looking and keeps grabbing new books.*

[Sir Sivelos]

*It nails SIVELOS in the back of the head.* OW! *SIVELOS falls over.*

[Ganyu]

*tosses book-cum-spell-bomb at Sivelos which bursts and opens a wormhole, whisking Sivelos away to a figment of his imagination*

*Why did you do that, Ecrivain?! Tazz, that wasn't brilliant either, but at least you didn't throw a bomb at your ally!*

*Sivelos dies from your bomb, and the frogs he was busy murdering to death go to the next-nearest target, which, for defiling what was apparently a holy book, is you. They attack you exclusively with one-shot spectral attacks, which can harm you and then some. You 'die' about five times before you can react, losing all EXP and Gold.*
