*Party heads back to their...Base? Never had a name for it.*
Ugh. So. There are 3 other Dark Writs, besides myself. The first is Karma, natch. Dark Writ of Lust. As you could expect from such a name, Karma was 'born' when some girl got dumped in probably the worst way to get dumped at the worst time to get dumped. She was basically wrecked. She wanted some Karma. She got it. She became basically invincible to physical harm and one of the most physically destructive beings to ever exist. She also emitted a kind of energy that, in short, makes you act perverted towards her because...In becoming Karma, she came to like perversion. However, that's all she did. She wasn't doing anything actually bad until the second Dark Writ came alone.
Freedom-the control freak and pervert you saw-is the Second Dark Writ, a political prisoner during some war way back against high-class demons. That particular planet was pretty screwed at that time. You can guess what he wanted: Freedom. He wanted out of his torture cell. He got it-got magical powers too strong for simple bars to stop...But, being imprisoned like that, he became obsessed with imprisoning others...Controlling others...Manipulating others. He sounded and acted perverted towards Karma when the two crossed paths, whether he wanted to or not, and Karma got attracted, like you'd expect, so she followed Freedom's orders for a while. Of course, they never did anything worse than manipulate a few villages and spur Fascism into a few civilizations.
Then came Image.
He was a particularly famous figure: master weaponsmith, creator of several important weapons, including stuff like the Star Rod and other such artifacts that were used to defeat 'invincible' beings, and creator of a substance that singlehandedly ended the war against said high-class demons I mentioned before. Of course, nobody saw him ever again, because he had to make it by becoming the third Dark Writ. He wanted something that could copy anything flawlessly, something that could be molded into any shape and have any function, something to end a war that would push everyone to oblivion...Whoever struck his hammer upon the Nether, Celestial or Terrestrial Anvils would create the substance, the Dark Aura...But of course, to create something to save everyone from Oblivion...Image is the Dark Writ of Oblivion, natch. He wants everything turned into nothing, and he has a 90% chance to be our true foe. At bare minimum, I could foresee Rev giving them a revival, not knowing who he was dealing with, and them taking an opportunity to strike a bargain to get what he wanted...Or brainwashing him. Image was manipulative and clever despite being dead serious all the time. When he and the other two met...He won Freedom over to his camp by explaining that, if there was nothing to control at all, the 'Ultimate Order' would be obtained, and Freedom...Well, yhea. He was keen on that, as you could tell.
I've already said and shown that I'm Dark Writ number 4, Justice, the Dark Writ of Bloodlust. I...Uhh, got a bit overly-angsty when someone died very suddenly. I say overly-angsty because she could have been revived quite quickly. Image took the opportunity to introduce the other half of the Dark Writ formula-powerful artifacts from two other dimensions, the Celestial and Nether anvils-and try to win me over with the opportunity to kill everything at once. I had been a railroad spike in his side, and to get that power on his side of the field, stronger than ever...It was an opportunity for him, and he took it. It resurrected the person I was freaking out about, and made me quite prone to wanting to murder things-hence being the Dark Writ of Bloodlust. Fortunately for Image, I was not keen on slaughtering my buddies NOR was I keen on joining him, considering he was the one who made me freak out and all that. I was the strongest one, being the only one who actually did any fighting with his life. I left my former allies, not keen on working with them, left a Dark Aura copy of myself...Who apparently was adamant on getting me back to my old self. It was weird, yes, but it worked in the end. I was able to control myself as the Dark Writ. It became intsrumental in getting past defenses that held us back from stopping the True Dark Writ in time, and ultimately gave me the ability to attack that thing head on.
The True Dark Writ...It is also known as the Body of Law. Hideous little ba****d, a fusion of the three other Dark Writs brought on by Dark Aura. It was capable of destroying the world utterly mere minutes after it's creation, and nearly achieved it five times. It would have worked instantly...Had it not been for the world that thing was created in having a mind of its own. It didn't want to be blown up, so it re-winded time and took champions from another world-myself included-turned them into particularly high-class denizens of its realm, and contacted one, telling them of the whole Dark Writ issue and what was going on. Only one. Pretty much WHY it took so long to stop it, and how it came so close to destroying it all...Every last bit of it. all of existence, in one spontaneous collapse.
In short: Bad guys! REALLY bad guys! And really capable bad guys!
The True Dark Writ hasn't been formed yet. I would know in a heartbeat. As for the other Dark Writs...
...We have no s**ting idea where they are, so we can't do jack-squat against them. I'll keep an eye out for unusual activity on the good old Dimensional Warp tracker. They're likely to reform Body of Law, but it's possible they'll try another method.
Just...Don't solo any of 'em if you come across them, OK?! Just, Abscond immediately! Get me if possible, but Abscond above all else! You'll just be brainwashed by 'em.
...OK.
On a lighter note...Did everyone get the loot? I left two Ultra-Rares for each of you from Rev, and Dimentio had some other stuff that Freedom didn't bother grabbing...Scyez has his clothes, though.
Scyez: YAY I HAS FUNNY CLOTHES!! YAAAAAAAY!!!
