The Unsealers (or FUNPIE, though almost everyone called them the Unsealers at this point) had obtained a Supernova-class Battlestar ship by some miracle, and had effectively bombed the c**p out of the base of the powerful resistance they had. The defenses the base itself had were admirable, but not admirable enough to take down the S.S. Thursday*

*It was surprising the wood held that long.*

*Nevertheless, now was the time for his role: He was to go down there and secure the area, and check for (and then kill) survivors. The group down there were absolutely bada**, and a gang the Helmsman didn't cross, period.*

*Thankfully, nothing needed to be done. There was nothing of use there-it was definite they WERE here-the briefing stated that it was DEFINITELY their HQ. However...They definitely weren't here.*

*The Helmsman's eyes darted to a flash of light in the back of the building. Rushing over, he was just in time to see several dimensional holes seal up.*

OK, I'll be frank: Where we are standing, We are literally 1 meter away from space. The Land of Oceans and Void gets its official name from the fact that the sky is both ways, the ocean is somehow serving as the core of the planet without being anything other than water, and...Well, this place is weird in general. Just remember, this is artificial gravity here, so all is well when it comes to that...
