Oh...That's not good.

To summarize, LA, we're mercs/heroes who've been hired by the guy in charge of armageddon to kill some idiots before they try to fast-forward the armageddon date. We ran straight into an armada, destroying most of it and allowing a giant space worm called Nidhogg free reign, and now we're being punished for it by cleaning out this Dungeon-the Bleak. Ecrivain and you will, after that's done, find some way to get us back on our feet.

For now, though...Let's do this.

*The cave ends abruptly at a hole in the ground. There is literally no light whatsoever.*

...OK, so I think those creatures have it out for light...We draw them out with a flare, then use AOE to murder en-masse. Clear?
