OK, I finished it!

Now, to once again blatantly break the 4th wall, I have actual screenshots of the very base on Minecraft. I actually did go and build it in Minecraft. I have a few images that sum everything up. I haven't PUT anything inside it, I just made the base itself, which was more work than you realize because everything solid is filled in, and this is deep ocean.

If you're wondering, I may just release the whole level once this whole thing is completed, or rather, when it's no longer spoilery to do so. We'll both probably be very old when that happens if it keeps going at this rate, because I put in some very spoilery buildings far too early...Hehehe...In any case, click spoilers if you want to see, then click the images to see them bigger.

Ayup.

The pool goes VERY deep, and it's a steep incline, perfect for diving if you do it off the deep end. It would be pretty big by modern standards, considering every block in minecraft is a meter each, which translates roughly to a yard.

I went for the standard castle look for the lower 3 levels and the roof of the rock castle, including the turrets (or I think those intrusions that protect from enemy archers are called turrets) and the style of the windows-using iron bars instead of glass. The weird modern stuff comes in at the 4th floor, which leads to an inverted iron castle, though inside the style is mostly the same to the standard rock one. In fact, it would only take a few changes to the balcony and railways, and then one could flip the whole structure upside down without any integrity loss.

Just, don't question how it's all stable on the 4th floor and how the stairwell doesn't just crush in on itself. Magic is involved. Heavily.
