To put it lightly, I can freely go through dimensions, and I am the one who has control over a force known as the chaos heart, which can bring about the void, or apparently the "corruption" as you have started calling it. As long as I have the power of the chaos heart, I am essentially omnipotent. Now, after my defeat due to the negation of chaos heart power from the pure hearts, the embodiment, which I and luigi managed to escape from, spawned Karma.
And so, the cycle repeats itself.

Although, I no longer really care for mass destruction. Much funnier to watch fools.
