The forums really should have a censor view toggle. That would solve about 90% of the problems.

No, I mean you know how a censored swear word shows up as all asterisks?
Some forums have an option for users, if they have it on it shows the original words and if not the asterisks. This way everybody is happy and we circumvent this whole exercise of futility and shame because even implying that a kid with access to internet doesn't know swear words is just plain wrong.
