He wasn't. Hunter Sr. was a criminal mastermind who managed to get several multiverses under his command. He was the best shapeshifter, who could replicate anything down to the tiniest memory. He stirred up a lot of trouble, but he vanished a long time ago, and there hasn't been a word from him since.

Well... He may have a weird name, but he is very dangerous. He could literally be any one of us, and we wouldn't know. But why he'd want to mess with us is beyond me... So he's probably not around. Probably.

Because he's the best shapeshifter there is. He can replicate everything from the most powerful tech to the tiniest memory. As far as I know, however, he can't replicate Uniquetechs.
