*The drop kick, though needlessly overpowered against Ecrivain, still goes straight through him. It instead nails the door behind him, which finally breaks.*

*Oh, yes: Ecrivain is still in the second lilypad castle courtyard. The Frogs have scored reinforcements who now stock fireproof clothing. They do much less damage but that hot oil trick is officially out of the running. Beyond the door is a fog wall-a standard way to guard bosses from sight.*

*Meanwhile, Sivelos and the others hit the entrance to the dungeon. You're stuck with Maddening Difficulty, but no enemies are left alive, so you'll have a quick run to them.*
