A closer look reveals that the miniguns, his only equipment, have anti-WIND attribute effects (which he is naturally hyper-vulnerable to), leaving all attemts at using wind (and by extension electricity) magic a useless one. He has no other EXTREME WEAKNESS.*

Rebecca: What sorcery is this, to have lightning bend away from it?!

Ominous: Anti-Stogick equipment was a common choice for anyone who had such an egregious weakness. It's not terribly complicated to bypass this, but doing so involves a disarm on an opponent who has an ability to prevent disarms...

Pandora: Well, it's basically immune, so...Might as well use it on me instead so I can charge up! I'm kind of pooped from all that lousy gatebusting.

*The miscellaneous units are bombing the s**t out of the thing, but it tanks like a boss on Maddening rightfully should. The many Tazzes get in close (except for those squishy enough), but aren't doing much better. How a full-fledged boss and his boss room are in the middle of an unrelated dungeon with little thematic connection is not as easily explained.*
