Taking advantage of this, they were forced to sacrifice some of themselves and create the void. If the void is removed and the original time eater is woken up, then everything we know will end.

You attempted to cause armageddon before. The Chaos heart gives you omnipotence, you said that before as well. You currently do not have the Chaos heart, so you are obviously attempting to grab it.

Yes, because waking it up blows up the void. I highly doubt that his nap-time affects the structural integrity of this place. However, because you're insane, may I present a third alternative?

You three go off and run, find the other Chaos hearts and stabilize this place. The Dimensional Needle should react when near the Real and Fake Chaos hearts and be able to stabilize this place....Which makes HIM obsolete.
