I don't think there is a problem with liking smores...
(Cynder can totally pwn Spyro in Dawn of the Dragon from the Legend of Spyro series)

And the newer Spyro games annoyed me.
The bosses are really hard
And the attack combo s*** is confusing
And Skylanders is in no way Spyro, but still cool.

I do agree that the skylanders games aren't Spyro games although I didn't find the bosses too hard... and Cynder's skillset was a lot of fun to use.
though older Spyro games were great too.
