Goku is not better, Trunks is not better, and Gohan is not better than Vegeta!!
Goku always gets help in some way or another, Vegeta fights alone. Trunks isn't that strong as a kid, but his future counterpart is still weaker than Vegeta! Gohan as a kid was utterly weak and was like his father, always getting help to achieve something, but as an adult, the Great Saiyaman and plus he doesn't train so he's technically weaker in fighting ability!
