Basically, it's like normal chess, but with a special feature. Basically, if I capture an opposing piece, then I can convert it and bring it back onto the board and use it as an actual piece. For example, my white Rook captures a Black Bishop. The Bishop will go into the cache of pieces on my side of the board, and I can take that Bishop piece, and that piece is now a white piece, so I can use it. I don't know if there's a limit to where you can place it on the board, though.
