*It seems QUAKE isn't letting you get hits on him that easily-the DIRE CUBE bounces backwords at you, unable to penetrate the kinetic deflector at all, unleashing DIRE WOLVES into your face at mach 1. Your senses detect that QUAKE actually IS smart enough to focus energy back there after you struck from there and broke the deflector before...But, from where did he draw the energy from his deflector? He hasn't pumped more into it...*

QUAKE: NOT AGAIN NOT AGAIN NOT AGAIN NOT AGAIN!!!

*QUAKE plants his metal staff into the ground and grabs onto it with both hands, giving him enough leverage to 180 without stopping, then tramples over you and the DIRE WOLVES with enough force to make his feet feel like trains. You and the DIRE WOLVES take lethal damage and horribly die. You then re-spawn fairly close to where QUAKE is.*

QUAKE: MORE?! MOOOOOOOORE!!!

*QUAKE starts bum-rushing you again.*

Oh, ffs! *SIVELOS uses TECH: TEMPORAL MARATHON, level 9999!!! Sivelos flash-steps over to TAZZ.* Why aren't you doing anything!?

*Tazz is unconscious...Apparently that Ax to the face wasn't good for the Glass Cannon. He will not be able to respawn unless he's killed...And QUAKE is breathing down your a**. You'll be forced to escape if everyone dies.*

*Oh, yes, QUAKE is still coming at you, not deterred in the slightest by your sudden change in position.*

Uuuuurgh! HOLD IT! *SIVELOS uses TECH: PSYCHOKINESIS, level 9999!!! Though it is not hurting him, QUAKE is now floating in the air, unable to do anything except fidget around in the air.*

*QUAKE easily breaks free of telekinesis, RIGHT in your face. You sense an overwhelming of your own telekinesis-apparently he's a powerful telekinetic. It actually fails to explain the kinetic deflector, but still.*

*You die AGAIN due to QUAKE trampling you.*

*The Knowledge ring states you haven't tried attacking from the sides.*

Sigh... *SIVELOS throws a POINTY STICK at QUAKE's side.*

*This does nothing other than alert QUAKE where you are. The Knowledge ring, quite sensibly, states that just throwing a weak stick at anyone will do next-to-nothing, even if its pointy or going at where the most likely weak point is. QUAKE starts bum-rushing you again. Those are still easily dodged...The Knowledge Ring also attempts to guess that QUAKE has to shift some energy from the barrier into his speed for the bum-rush, leaving those weak points.*

*The Knowledge ring chides you for being lazy and unimaginative. You CAN use energy attacks that are not Magic-based...Of which you have plenty. Bard of Doom powers to make QUAKE (and you) much more vulnerable? That isn't magic at all! The Cigar? Remember that? The Hand-Cannon? Yeah, also nonmagical. Guns (in general) are nonmagical, in fact, including energy-shooting ones. UNIQUETECHS are also typically non-magical. You have options, dude! Why aren't you using them?!*

Uh... Oh yeah. *SIVELOS uses his BARD OF DOOM powers to lower everybody's luck so horrendously low, that every attack will most likely blow up in the user's face. In some cases, literally.*
