*Most classes don't have 'tiers.' Only prerequisites. The Inquisitor is not a prerequisite, nor does it require prerequisites. Think a base-class Pokemon in the TCG with no evolutions. In any case, your luck is no longer so low as to be hilariously bad.*

*Tazz takes the class-up and chooses Berzerker, which comes with some small accuracy and speed penalties, but mostly focuses on pure, brute strength instead.*

*Tazz teleports the guy to their ships and recollects the L00T from the GIANT LOBSTER-WIELDING TITAN LOBSTER. He also checks the scrap of the Merachi, and finds two...Things, labeled 'resonators.'*

Bloodhound: Marlon! It's been a while.

Marlon:...Yeah, it has been...I guess I'm not the only one back from the dead, huh?

Bloodhound: Hell no. Come on, soldier, we've got a new crew and an old mission to take care of.

Marlon:...Don't tell me that a** is still alive?!

Bloodhound: He escapes karma like a thief escapes cops.

Marlon:...OK, I'm on board to help, whatever it is.

Bloodhound:...Excellent...Now, these are an erratic, colorful bunch outside of their leader, but they're all excellent, so let's not worry about that...

Marlon:...Oh, He's an Aurin. They've been really nice to me. There have been a few...Big things, thinking me of food, but these guys, they just talk 'em away...They're nice folk, really nice folk. Don't drag 'em into this...We know what happens when people become enemies of that a**hole...

Bloodhound: I agree...I wonder what that is, the thing he's got there...

Marlon:...Oh, that's some kind of Psionic Focus, really powerful. Hey, what did you say that was made of?

Tazz: OK, so...Yeah, Sivelos. Remember that War Medic idea I had? This...Cuts in on range, sadly, but this is basically what we needed, these...'Resonators.' I'll see about outfitting people with this stuff in due time. If you're not decided on a class...This could be stronger than the average.

I was mulling over on Guardian, perhaps. Or maybe... I dunno.

*The WAR MEDIC: A Hybrid Healer/Damage Dealer who's level of damage-dealing equals his level of healing. With the power of SCIENCE that you may not fully understand, the Resonators-the class weapon-will automatically distribute healing and damage to allies and enemies if they're in range (and used), respectively-in other words, no worry for friendly fire, no matter the ability! This can also recharge energy shields, buff or debuff, and grant special passives or DoT with special robots called 'probes.' You can also deploy persistent fields of healing, harming, or other such things. Though they don't last forever, great for holding down the fort! This all comes with a slight problem: Resonators are NOT really good at long range. They can keep their persistent fields up from a distance without issue, but deploying them requires you to get close, and same with other attacks. Also, the Resonators are DUAL-WIELD only, meaning you HAVE to use both to really use your WAR MEDIC powers properly...Meaning, no UGalaxia or Stinger whist you're going all WAR MEDIC. Their stats are also decisively average, with no particular boosts or lack thereof anywhere.*

Tazz: Well, that's one Schematic off the ground. Whoop!

QUAKE is recovering from...Well, everything over in the medical bay...And those Merachi fellows have decided to come along, because apparently they've really got nothing better to do.

Merachi dude you saw before: We really don't. We'll do anything as long as it's not humiliating.

Tazz: So, that's all wrapped up...

...The Ragnak went to the Jungle planet while we weren't there...Bluh, they probably had an easier time of it. But, we got class ups. This leaves the Volcano area as the only one left...The Ragnak are probably heading over there as well. Ready, Sivelos? It'll take some time.

*SIVELOS uses SUMMONTECH: MAGEQUEST! The Mage, Bard, and Rogue all pop out of a small dimensional hole. Two others, The Druid and the Archmage pop out as well.*

Hah, it's been a while. *The Bard greets everybody with a serene smile. The Mage begins running around, inspecting the ship. The Rogue stands in the corner, being a bad***.*

*They're all promptly confused by the ridiculously high-tech whatnot, except the Druid, who calmly commits suicide over the fact he vowed to in case he ever got teleported onto anything that was metal and flying among the stars. Like this.*

Tazz:...That was unexpected.

*The Archmage gets too curious and starts exploring. The study of Magic is a science, after all.*

((My mind. Sorry, this whole 'pick your own adventure' thing didn't really match up to how I wanted it play out.))

((You basically have to write that stuff mostly by the seat of your pants. Mostly. You should have a goal of the protagonists from square 1, I think (IE, get out of the locked room, slay the evil wizard of much evil and monsters, erase root beer bears from existence, ect), to at least guide player choice in that general direction to start, but be prepared for, well, anything. Including them turning evil and helping the evil wizard or committing suicide. Also, you have to think somewhat realistically on weaknesses or resistances-don't be surprised if they use a crown which vaporizes whoever wears it on the final boss if he's not nonphysical.))
