How hard is it to make a Pokemon game?
There is a lot of things to think about when it comes to making a Pokemon game. Especially when Game Freak has been making so many of them. Say what you want about Sword & Shield but these games are surely going to encompass the same ideals that all Pokemon games have.
What are those ideals?
That is where our featured video is going to answer! Today we are showing off a video from JelloApocalypse where he attempts to make his own Pokemon game. This game isn’t going to be what he thinks is going to be be the best Pokemon game. He plans to make this game to align with what most Pokemon games try to be while also cater to their fanbase.
Do I like all of JelloApocalypse’s ideas? I would say that I don’t. Especially his viewpoint on Legendary Pokemon. Though, his video is still worth watching if you want a cool idea on a Pokemon game. So go ahead and watch the video below! Let us know what you think in the comments.

Oh man I watched this a little while ago, and while I agree getting rid of legendaries isn't necessarily a great idea, of lot of the other stuff he covers is actually pretty cool. I like the research quests and the version exclusive starters that impact how you venture through the game everything. My favorite part was the MAFIA bad guys though. Definitely want some of those.

I like the idea of having the Starting Pokemon determine where you start your game. The problem is that some people may like the Starter but hate where you start because you choose that Starter. Or fear of missing out on something because of the Starter they choose.

Ex: Jimmy chooses the Fire Starter but really wants to have a Pokemon from the Water Starter town to be on his team at the beginning of his journey. Now he needs to decide if he really want to get Fire Version or forego the Fire Starter just so he can get Water Version to get that one Pokemon that he wants to play with.

Granted. This could be solved by making friends with somebody who have Water Version. Though, there is a difference of your connection with a Pokemon your caught yourself and one that your traded.
