Names can mean a lot. If my memory serves correct, the name Vegeta in some form of a Saiyan type of language means great or royal one. That is why if any low class warrior had used the name Vegeta, they would have bee killed for false bearing. Certain names were blocked to the low class warriors, only so that no one would confuse them, though their power levels should have been the giveaway. But different societies have different interpretations on what a name actually is.

Though I have heard someone say something about names, that I found a bit funny. According to them, names are weird, because your parents choose a sound that defines you as a person for the rest of your life. *Smirks* It's actually quite true in most cases.

I was given a name when I was created... It was weird... I woke up, and then an name echoed in my head... I just started calling myself that.

That's why I said most cases.

But... I never had parents...

Are you missing the key word? The key word is most! Almost everyone I know from my kingdom, and even myself, had parents. You, are one of the few I know who never had parents.
