The next Pokémon Masters event has been announced.

This event is the Grass-type Training event, an event designed to make it easier to train up Grass-type Sync Pairs. This event will have a spotlight on Brendan, a five star trainer with a Treecko for a partner! It is not known exactly when this spotlight will begin but you can expect it will be coming soon!
Brendan is a five star strike type trainer. His partner, Treecko, is a grass type, so he’s weak to poison. Brendan has two passive skills: Haste, which prevents speed from being lowered, and Lithe, which prevents the Pokémon from getting paralyzed. Treecko also gets access to Bullet Speed and Leaf Storm. The two trainer moves are Dire Hit + and No Turning Back! Dire Hit + sharply raises the user’s critical hit rate and No Turning Back uses a maximum of three slots of the user’s move gauge. Then based on the amount used, this move raises the user’s Attack and Sp. Atk to a maximum of six.
Their sync move is Grass Sync Impact, implying that while evolution is not a possibility for Brendan and Treecko now, it could become a possibility in the future. So be sure to grab this trainer while the spotlight lasts!
