DarkNerd Steps Out of the Shadows

Evening, I am DarkNerd, lord of darkness, villainy, and jellyfish.
I've actually been here for quite a while, but I haven't really posted except once about some theory of how the Pokeverse came to be.
Well, allow me to get on with my introduction.
I was a Pokestadium member, for over 2 years as a matter of fact. Highly respected too, unless I'm being too kind to myself. I'd be glad to talk about it, so long as the last few days are NOT brought up. I am not yet ready to speak about those events. Saying this because I like telling people my triggers, so then they know what generally makes me leave a conversation or become enraged and can avoid it. Sure thry can try using it to provoke me, but I know how to deal with that situation decently enough (I leave for few minutes).
Other things that trigger me are Game Theory, the Anti-Bullying movement (both of which I am willing to explain at least), and my past.
That pretty much covers that end.

However, I'm not all warning labels. I love listening and helping people with problems, even if the help is listening by itself.
I'm known for my friendliness and eloquence, or at least I think I am.
I'm also an artwork mod at Pokepavillion, although there hasn't been much for me to do.
Currently a senior in high school, I'm hoping to go to an art college (specifically Ai), and as such, I draw a lot. Currently have 4 comics- Tiddlywinks, my newest, which is random bits from my Pokemon games, so far only a Yellow hack and Pokemon Y; Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Adventures in Bel-Aire, which is pretty much it says. My ACNL game in comic form, but with plenty of shipping (though I haven't gotten there yet); Elemental Fang, my Diamond Nuzlocke, which was pretty terrible until page 40/50 something; and Wayne Squirtle, my oldest series, which celebrated its 2-YEAR anniversary this October, and is by far my most popular series. All are on hiatus as I work on a website for them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. They can be found on my Da and FB page, which I won't list because that would be advertising.
If you're wondering what I plan to major in, it's in Game Art and Design, of which can be explained, but that alone would take up a lot more space and I believe I've dragged this out long enough.
Fun fact: if you live in Southern Cali and have been watching the news, you may have seen my work. I don't like advertising, but I love bragging.

DarkNerd! I was waiting for you to say something. Glad you're finally here!

And trust me, the Eternal Lord of Darkness is not being too kind for stating that he's respected, friendly and eloquent. They're very much the truth.

I enjoy reading your comics as well, so I can't wait to see the website that you're making. If you're using Weebly, I'll be more than glad to offer my help (I'm very experienced in the field of dragging-and-dropping XD). Seriously, though, best of luck with all of your comics.

And can I just ask; what is it about Game Theory that ticks you off so much? I'm not a fan of it because of the way it thinks it is clever by joining some dots, but those dots are as useful as Mini Mario at one of Bowser's Castles (game-related sarcasm: WOOP WOOP!). But I digress; what is it that you're not a fan of about it? And the anti-bullying movement, too? Someone had to ask. 0:)

Ah the jellyfish overlord returns. (I really have to find your weaknesses at some point *sigh*)

Hullo there DN, hope to see you around the forums more often.

As for game theory, I thought that was an economics decision-making thing, unless I'm missing something here?

Great to see ya too, Blaq!

Oh thank goodness. Thanks, it's nice to hear that.

Yeah, I have no idea what I'm going to use yet, I'm currently in the process of planning it out, what I want on the home page, what order, the rating (Wayne is not PG, that's for sure), etc. I will definitely look into Weebly. And your help, should I use it, will be greatly appreciated.

Mostly GT is highly arrogant, sounds incredibly snotty (at least in my opinion), they tend to make A LOT of rookie mistakes from what I've seen, and they seem to be incredibly biased when they analyse their information, plus people keep trying to pass it off their stuff as fact to me and it just reached the point of becoming one of my great banes of existence.
As for the Anti-Bullying Movement, it's more of what they say to do: walk away and tell an adult. I made a pretty long rant about this back in PS, which basically showed how that plan not only does not always work, it generally makes this terribly worse, as now the bully/ies have a reason and not many people in school will trust you because you're a snitch, yada yada, etc. Any more explanation delves into my past and I'm keeping that buried in a box in the desert, right next to those ET games. But yes, it's terrible.

Evening Theo (I like that new nickname for ya). You will never find my weakness. NEVER. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hopefully I will be around here more often.

Game Theory is a YouTube channel I despise with a burning passion. They come up with theories based on games. They're horrible at it.

Perhaps not your weakness, but feasting on your brethren is quite delicious. Staple of Oriental cuisine, they say. Slightly crunchy with a hint of vinegar. :>

Also I thought you were hating on my game theory man D: One can't deny the validity of having to put down a prisoner's dilemma for everyone :)

No problem, and I'll be happy to help you with all that jazz on Weebly. The one problem is that I don;t think there are many different styles to choose from, but the number of colours on some of them makes up for that.

I agree with you fully on GT making rookie mistakes. They compared Sonic's speed to Mario in one video (saying Mario was the fastest), when they failed to take into account that Mario's sprite was HALF THE SIZE of Sonic's. Then they say thy focus on the science of games. So yeah, it's perfectly understandable to hate GT with a burning passion; most people do anyway. XD

You're right about anti-bullying as well. I used to be a snitch, I'll admit, and I regret it more than I regret anything. Kids can solve far more by themselves, and being almost forced into telling teachers throughout 'Anti-Bullying Week' only ends badly once that week is over and teachers simply stop caring.

Wow, I really have a lot of inner anger. XD
