I was almost broke after grad school. $60K in tuition was brutal and I barely pulled it off without going into debt.

Best we've got are scholarships and FAFSA. It covers some of the cost, but not everything. For my grad school, I had to play everything out of pocket, though sometimes if you're an employee, a company may give you some tuition allowance.

So yeah, the costs are still pretty high, but there are a few ways to bring it down.

And sometimes if the system really wants to screw with you, you won't get anything because they don't deem you as low income enough, so even though you actually do need the money, because you're a Caucasian person from a dual income middle class family, they only give you pocket change if anything. The scholarships I got ran out within the first year.
