Thanks for sharing details about your new dog! Kenzi is a very cute name. :3 My mother's boyfriend also has a 1 year old Belgian Malinois!
As we are in early January, if she gave birth to puppies earlier this year, it means that the puppies are a few days old. Isn't that too early for puppies to be adopted?
I hope that she has a quick recovery from the birth and that she will warm up to your parents soon.

I keep forgetting it’s 2020 already. No the puppies were born a few months ago, so earlier last year.
