Because you will see a lot of this little snail as East Sea Shellos takes the spotlight!
East Sea Shellos will be in the spotlight today, August 10th. You will see the blue variant of the Sea Slug Pokemon out and about tonight during this week’s Spotlight Hour. Though, how about we prep you on East Sea Shellos.
About East Sea Shellos

East Sea Shellos is 1’00” and weighs only 13.9LBS.If you spot East Sea Shellos then you will usually see a blue and green Pokemon with two flap-like fins. These fins have a pair of yellow stripes running down them. There is no for sure reason on why this variant exists. Though, it is theorize that the appearance is based on what East Sea Shellos eats.
East Sea Shellos made their first appearance in Generation 4 with two different forms. If you played Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and/or Platinum normally then you will encounter East Sea Shellos towards once arriving in Pastoria City.

In Pokémon GO

East Sea Shellos, in its base stage, has it’s strongest moveset in Mud Slap and Water Pulse with the Max CP of 1,136 CP. East Sea Gastrodon, it’s final form, has it’s strongest moveset in Mud Slap and Earthquake and it has a Max CP of 2,324.
The Shiny form of East Sea Shellos has not been release in Pokemon GO as of August 10th, 2021.
Tips for Spotlight Hour

This Spotlight hour, which runs form 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time will also feature 2x Catch XP. You will want to use a Lucky Egg so that way you can add another double for each Pokemon you catch during this hour.
