A Pokémon Presents has been announced.

After a good amount of silence from the Pokémon Company regarding Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl as well as Legends: Arceus (outside of a few social media posts here and there), a new announcement has been made. The next Pokémon Presents is slated to hit your screens on Wednesday of next week!
Details

This Pokémon Presents will air on August 18th at 14:00 BST / 09:00 EDT / 06:00 PDT / 15:00 CEDT / 22:00 JST. It’s will feature news on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl as well as Pokémon Legends: Arceus and will run for 28 minutes.
It’s not known at this time what will be covered in regards to these games, though people are already making their predictions. It’s very likely that will see more recent builds of these games, so some graphical and frame rate improvements are reasonable expectations. Fans are also hoping to see the introduction or return of the “gimmick mechanics” like Z-Moves and Mega Evolution, taking their recent inclusion in the Journey’s anime as a sign that they will be included in either BDSP or Legends: Arceus.
While I won’t make any predictions myself, it would be interesting to play through Sinnoh with Mega Evolution as a mechanic. Though that does leave the terrifying prospect of facing Cynthia’s Mega Garchomp. Either way, I’m excited for it, and I hope you are too. And regardless of what is announced, you can be sure to expect discourse about trees afterwards.
Until next time, see ya!
