Ready to go and show some gratitude!
It has been no secret that the last two years have been tough for everybody. Especially if you have been playing Pokemon GO. Though, this game is trying their best to show gratitude for their players. That is why they are hosting Pokemon GO Fest once again! In several parts!
Global Event

The Global GO Fest Event will take place worldwide on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, 2022.
You will be able to play this event no matter where you are in the world. As long as you go out and play!
In-Person Events

In addition to the global event, there will be three in-person GO Fest events. These in-person events will be taking place in three different locations on three different dates.
Below are the dates and locations for each in-person GO Fest.

  • Friday, July 1, 2022, to Sunday, July 3, 2022: Berlin, Germany
  • Friday, July 22, to Sunday, July 24, 2022: Seattle, WA, USA
  • Friday, August 5, 2022, to Sunday, August 7, 2022: Sapporo, Japan

Event Speculation

We currently do not know the cost for the global or in-person GO Fest.
One thing that we can say with some certainly is that Shaymin may be involved in this year’s GO Fest. It is all speculation but judging by the GO Fest emblem, it looks as if Shaymin will be making an appearance. If you take a look at the side of the GO Fest emblem, you can see pink flower-like design on the side.
These flower-like designs look similar to the pink flowers on Shaymin or the Gracidea Flower. The Gracidea Flower is a unique item that has ties with Shaymin. It is required for Shaymin to change into the Sky Forme. Perhaps this will take into play seeing that we saw the introduction of Forme Changes this year in Pokemon GO.
Whatever happen or will happen with GO Fest this year, we know that a lot of players will GO out and have some fun catching Pokemon.
