I got invited here by Braixen, so... yeah haha. Guess I'll introduce myself.

You can call me Zodiac or submit an alternative name and I'll consider responding to it. Been playing Pokemon for a long time, well over 10 years now. My favourite generation is the third, although I was pleased with X and Y. I haven't been very active in the games since HG/SS, so as far as metagame and things such as that I have no idea.

Outside of Pokemon, I'm just your average science student. I know plenty about things so boring you'll probably never want to know. I've seen some anime, played some video games, I lift weights and run a little bit... So on and so forth. Honestly I'm better at one on one conversations than threads so if you want to get to know me better just ask me anything!

A lot of people here have been playing pokemon for a long time too. :] I know I have! YAY THIRD GENERATION! I heard somewhere that a Ruby/Sapphire remake is confirmed (although I guess we're yet to see news). LET'S HOPE SO.

YAY ANOTHER GEN 3ER! Hoenn is my favorite region as well, and RSE had the best music and creative pokemon ever! *-* Ralts was the best thing to ever enter the pokemon universe

Also, what kind of science do you like? Are you a Geology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Anatomy, Environmental, or all round science student? I enjoy learning random facts as well, so I guess scientific "bore" is more of a unique trait that separates from the crowd. Have you ever done any Science related competitions too?

As for the metagame, if you ever want someone to practice battles with, don't be shy. I'd be glad to teach you some new strategies in regards to X and Y's competitive metagame. ^^ I'm on showdown a lot sometimes! xD

Yeah I'm really hoping for the Gen III remakes too! Or maybe a Colosseum/XD type addition. Either would make me cry with joy.

I know I love everything about R/S/E. I listen to the OST all the time for background music.

My background during school was in math and physics, but after a year of that in uni I realised it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So currently I'm working on environmental science, since it's a pretty broad field and I get to do what I want more or less. Mainly I work on human-environment actions, so most of what I do is around urbanisation, pollution, and resource management.
