As the trinity armada sailed on in triangular formation, I could start to see the skyline of Goldenrod City in the distance. They really had no idea what was coming their way. In the meantime, the sky was going gray and it looked like it was going to start raining any minute.

All Team Aqua soldiers on all three of the ships were prepping from what was essentially going to be a slaughter. Judging from the target, there weren't any real defenses there, but we were pretty certain the most we would probably be facing were some operatives and possible small arms fire. Considering what we were packing, those useless asshats might as well be trying to blow pepper at us.

In the meantime, Yarvick was being informed to rendezvous with me on the deck. I wasn't sure how or where the hell he managed to get a Deoxys, but if Tiantus said it was real, hell, it was real.

"Everything in place?" I asked the radio conference.

"Yep, all armaments fully stocked and loaded," Hank Clyde, the captain of the Fairy Dragon, replied. "Just give the order."

All three ships were ready to launch all that we needed to turn Goldenrod City into cinders. But of course, I wanted to make sure we started blowing Harper Industries to shreds and everyone inside of it.

I then sent a quick message to Raidon Makoto.

Raidon, this trinity armada is approaching Goldenrod City now. We'll be launching the attack on Harper Industries likely within the next fifteen minutes, and we'll be making the place look to be in a worse condition than if they were being deep fried in their own puke.

And after sending that message, that was when Yarvick showed up. Word had it that he was a pretty talented thief. I mean hell, if this guy managed to get Deoxys into his hands, I wasn't about to ask if he could pull off this attack. He had the guts for it. He had dirty-blonde hair, dark skin, and his clothes made it clear this wasn't the kind of guy some nerd or piss-wit wanted to meet in a dark alley.

"Good to meet you, sir," he told me. " I'm Yarvick Xelsez...So, you're loaning me an Ancient Burst Heart just to get a Mega Deoxys to blow up basically the whole city to hell, right? That's my role in the plan in a nutshell?"

"No need to be formal," I told him, really feeling 'sir' was something only rich, snooty bastards liked to use. "Anyway, yeah, you got it, that's the plan. I have no idea how you managed to get a hold of Deoxys, but hey, it doesn't matter to me."

I reached into my pocket and took out the Ancient Burst Heart. Sure, getting this thing from Hayes had been a total pain in the crotch to get, but Yarvick was in an obviously better position to make way better use of this thing considering he had a legendary under his command and I just didn't. Tiantus himself confirmed this Deoxys was authentic, so I wasn't about to waste time seconding guessing that over nothing. Yarvick was in a unique position to make mayhem more possible and I could easily roll with that.

"Simple orders, really," I told Yarvick, handing him the Ancient Burst Heart. "Unleash all hell on these maggots. As Mega Deoxys, you open up with the first strike on the tower when I give the command. The trinity armada will then follow up with the bombardment once we've assessed the damage from the first strike. After that, it's all about mowing these worms down like hay."

Once it was in his hands, I gave him a grin.

"And most of all..." I told him, patting him on the shoulder. "...have fun with this. Now get out there and enjoy yourself."

I then headed to my battle-station. Goldenrod City was drawing closer and closer and already the rain was starting to come down.

Time to light this place up.

Wow, things were definitely getting hot and spicy! I felt like I hadn't been outside for weeks, so it was nice to breathe in some open air again! It was raining a bit, but hey, a little water never bothered me.

I had to give a lot of Team Aqua grunts the two-minute intro to Chimera mutagens as I brought the computer and the cart on deck. I swore, I felt like a salesperson, but I was getting better the more I did it! But in any case, some Aquas weren't too convinced while others got a little intrigued.

"You can totally make a Chimera form with any Pokémon!" I told them, making a quickie that just about anyone would like. "Here, try this Charizard/Salamence/Weavile one!"

The grunt looked at it, a little doubtful, but I managed to convince him to try it anyway. When he transformed into a hulking blue dragon with Weavile claws and quills totally perfectly, the other Aquas around were pretty impressed. He looked like he couldn't wait to start tearing stuff up!

"Holy crap, how did you-?" One of them asked, totally baffled!

"Hey, I'll share the details later, but I think they're about to start pounding stuff any minute!" I told him, knowing obviously they were going to blow up something in Goldenrod City to the high heavens. "And don't worry, you guys will totally be able to change back to normal after the battle's done. That's... if you even want to!"

A small line was beginning to form at the machine, but in the meantime, I saw Yarvick talking to Neo on the deck. I wasn't sure what exactly was going to go down, but I knew with these guys, it was usually all fire and mayhem. And a whole lot of fun doing it!

I looked back to the Chimera generator and it seemed like most of these guys were picking out some pretty tough Chimera forms that I knew could easily make whoever was on the opposing side just totally crap their pants! The peeps that weren't so convinced in the beginning were suddenly drawn in when they saw the Chimera mutagens were totally working and were totally beefing up the infantry. It was a lot like kids discovering the awesome power of ice cream for the first time!

Shortly after, the ships came to a stop, a nice safe distance away from the burning barbeque that was to be Goldenrod City in a few minute. I had to say, Harper Tower definitely seemed to be the target considering the way all the guns on the ships were staring down on it. Even the Liquidator looked like it was ready to turn the place into the building equivalent of ground beef!

"Alright, Yarvick," Neo told him, pointing his finger toward Harper Tower. "Rip them a new asshole!"

You just had to love how these guys trash talked!

Hellcat chopper, Arriving in Vermillion city, Kanto
    Affected RPers: N/A

The chopper touched down on a helicopter pad near the city reserved for police and military. The stealth feature that we had on this particular one allowed it to change the appearance on the outside. Right now it had identification as a Kanto Police Department helicopter, though of course we couldn't change the look from a military helicopter. There was a big KPD emblazoned on it now, as well as the proper identification. The chopper auto pilot was programmed to take off afterward for a nearby clearing in the wood where we would find it later anyway so it's not like it was going to be staying around very long. We just didn't want to be stepping out of thin air or out of a door to nothing. That would look even more suspicious. The five of us had our masks and KPD uniforms on, which had long been swiped from the real KPD. We weren't planning to stay in the region long if we could help it, anyway. We headed over to the guy in the sailor suit checking papers, clearing our throats to prepare for changing our voice to match the pitch and accent in Kanto. He was a bit taken aback at us just showing up, but quickly regained his composure.

"Papers, please. Kanto is at war and I can't take any chances. I'm sure you understand." He held out his hand for the papers.

I nodded. "Of course." We each reached into our pockets and pulled out our completely authentic badges but forged papers and handed it to the man. Dan had hacked into their database on the way here and inserted our info. He would remove it when the Op here was done.

He scanned them with a gadget that looked like a metal detector and it chimed a pleasant chime. "So, what brings you here Officers? Usually we call the KPD if we need it or patrols just show up."

As the usual voice of the squad I answered the questions unless one of them was addressed directly. We were a tight-knit group and what went for one went for all. Though this time I really wasn't aware of what the Op was, so Dan stepped up and handed the man what looked like a warrant. "We're chasing a wanted criminal last seen in Saffron City. He's wanted for two counts of murder and one count of burglary." Of course I was sure the warrant was completely forged, but it would come up as authentic when scanned. The machine beeped a pleasant chime again and the man nodded.

"Everything checks out Officers. Welcome to Vermillion City. If you're not in too much of a hurry, you should check out our tour which includes the Gym and the S.S. Anne." He said with a cheerful smile. Dan smiled back and we filed past the sailor. Once we were out of view I had to ask him about this.

"Dan, are we really chasing a criminal?" I asked him as we hurried north toward Route 6. He looked at me like I was crazy and otherwise didn't say anything. I answered my own question. "Of course we're not. So what are we doing on this globe trotting adventure?"

"We're tracking the black market and sales of manufactured Burst Hearts. I figure more of them for Aqua's cause counts as helping." The rest of us nodded as we quickened our pace.

    ~*~*~

About ten minutes of walking we reached Route 6. We were about to just continue when what seemed to be a trainer completely not watching where he was going bumped into me. It was always an awkward feeling when somebody bumped into me like that, especially since he was shorter and his head ended up in a weird position. "Kid, keep an eye on the road next time and not on your phone." I told him, still in the same Kanto dialect.

"You bumped into me, lady!" I looked him over now. He was wearing a white t-shirt over his tanned skin with a vest, and blue jeans. He also wore a local team cap. He pulled out a Pokéball, made it large, and gripped it tightly.

"Oh, a rude one eh? I can detain you for annoying an officer of the law!" I yelled at him, though really I couldn't and didn't know where I'd take him anyway.

The kid gripped his ball tightly. "Rude?! Seriously, YOU bumped into ME! Battle me and let's settle this the fair way!" I shrugged as he grinned and threw out a Charmander. It had the same cocky grin as it's trainer. I decided to play with him, tossing out my Venusaur.

"Saur!" Leafy bellowed as he roared out his name. The Charmander started laughing with pieces of his voice in there.

"You're really using a grass type against a fire type? What kind of trainer are you?" He was laughing really hard, but managed to ask his Pokémon to make a move. "Charmander, Ember attack!" The fire lizard started spitting embers as he jumped up.

"Leafy, Razor Leaf!" Leafy spit out a colossal storm of leaves from of his flower bulb. Some of the leaves got burned by the embers, and Leafy even took some hits as well, getting knocked back, but most of the leaves hit the Charmander, taking it out.

"No way!" Yelled the cocky kid. "There's no way. That attack only burned some leaves, but it did hit, I saw it!"

"So? My Venusaur is just trained better. You never had a chance." Leafy nodded and smiled, proud of himself. I then patted him on the head lightly. "Go and train then maybe you'll have a shot at the Gym here." The boy sighed and recalled his collapsed Charmander.

"I'm sorry. I really should be watching where I'm going while I use my smartphone. So what are you going to do now Officer, arrest me like you said?" He sighed and put his arms out to be cuffed.

"I was kidding about that." I slapped his wrists, recalling Leafy. "Just go train." The five of us walked past him as he let out a long sigh and leaned against a nearby tree.

We headed north toward Saffron City and were at the gate in no time. The guard didn't even pay attention, the slacker.

Hellcat chopper, Arriving in Lake of Rage, Johto
    Affected RPers: N/A

Our chopper touched down by the lake, landing quietly. The other chopper was already there, having arrived on autopilot. I couldn't see it but Dan's tablet assured us it was there. We felt around for the door and opened it to reveal a small box with five syringes of MEND. The label on the box said WARNING: DON'T TAKE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO LET IT TAKE EFFECT in big red letters. Whoever packed this sure was thorough. I almost sent the chopper off to return back to base, but then I realized it might be more useful to wait for us so we can put a new cache of Burst Hearts in it. Hopefully the last one was useful. We each took a syringe, jammed it in a wrist vein, and let the liquid flow. The effect it was having sure was painful. There was groaning all around and I felt like my insides were on fire. Whatever was in this, the initial effect sure was unpleasant. Explains the warning. The five of us laid on the ground groaning in agony as I literally felt the liquid spread all over. Must. Not. Pass. Out. The pain was both bothersome and strangely euphoric to the point of being relaxing. After what felt like way too long, finally the pain was over and we felt well enough to get up. I also felt the injuries from the Kanto base melting away.

Just to be sure though, I decided to lightly cut my left palm with one of the claws on my other hand. The others watched and none of us were talking. A squirt of blood, then in seconds the injury closed up like it was never there. Crazy. Really crazy. I showed my hand to the others and they smiled, wanting to try it for themselves. I lightly pricked each of their palms with a claw and we all watched the injuries melt away in seconds.

"Now I really think I'm out of a job." Anna finally said as we started flip-jumping southward through the trees toward Mahogany Town.

"Nonsense. Your job has just been made easier is all. You can focus on pulling stuff out and healing the Pokémom." As I said that she sighed, unconvinced. "Don't worry Anna, you're not useless. You still have all the other training the rest of us do." Still unconvinced, she nodded as we made it to town, landing down from the trees and walking in casually.

Dan was right. Nobody paid us any mind as he led us to a house that had a store in it. His tablet said this was the address he dug up from his searching and the information from the other base. It looked familiar, like I'd seen it before. Then I remembered where I'd seen it. Years ago I'd seen old newspaper clippings that this was where Lance and the teenager had broken into a Rocket base. The store seemed to still be in operation but it seemed quite ordinary nowadays. Or was it? The clerks noticed us and came over.

"Are you looking for something in particular? How about buying a souvenir from Lake of Rage? The Rage Candy Bar has always been a hot seller." The old and wrinkled lady cheerfully made a recommendation. I was about to speak up, but Dan spoke first. Again he seemed to know exactly where he was going.

"We're looking for something a little hotter." He lowered his voice and knelt down to the lady. "Do you have anything small with glass in it?" He then winked at her.

"Oh, you're one of those kinds of customers." Her face suddenly became deathly serious and she lost the cheerful attitude. "Right this way." She led us behind the counter and reached under it. A buzzer rang behind one of the walls and then it opened. The lady turned to the man who wore a long black cloak who opened the hidden door and nodded to us without a word. The man motioned to us to come forward, also without a word. We were actually going to get in without fighting. Well, fighting yet. We were still looking to stop their production and obtain the info we needed.

We were led down an underground corridor past Persian statues, which I was sure were left over from when this was a Rocket base. The article had gone into detail on the entire base back then. Eventually we were led to a makeshift counter with boxes around it as far as the eye could see. The man wore really a long cloak and I could only see his eyes behind a mask. This place looked much like the warehouse in Saffron, down to the production noise. I was sure most of the old Rocket base wasn't being used, or if it was it was probably used to sort shipments. As we got to the counter the man in the cloak sat down in a chair behind it and turned to a computer console. "So, how many would you like?" He got right down to business.

I stepped forward, itching to just gut him and tear that cloak off. "Actually, we're not here to buy."

The man narrowed his eyes at me behind his mask. "Then why are you here?"

I might as well be honest since he was pretty much a corpse anyway. "We need information, and I'm pretty sure you're not going to just give it to us." Though I wasn't sure what kind of info Dan even needed from these guys, I was sure that's what we were here looking for.

The man narrowed his eyes even further, if that was even possible. "What kind of information? Maybe we can come to some understanding."

Dan spoke up this time. Eh, it didn't hurt to try diplomacy. "We're looking for the central factory.........To acquire it's assets." That wasn't entirely true. I could tell from the way he said it.

The man got up and snapped his fingers. "I'm afraid that information is need to know, and since you're not buying you know too much just by being here." Goons dressed in the same fine suits stepped out of the unlit portions of the room. If my math was right, there were again around 50 of them counting the women. "Unfortunately for you, you'll have to disappear now."

I sighed. "I guess we're doing this the hard way."

"Kill them all!" The cloaked man yelled as he and the computer console slid under the floor. I was sure we would see him again.

The goons pulled out their weapons as I looked around. We only had seconds to take in our surroundings. Time moved in slow motion. This time there were no rafters to jump to and no platform to jump to either. We were surrounded, but Scar always had a way out. And time resumed normally. We'd had enough of it to survey our surroundings. We all met eyes and slipped on simple plastic visors just as the goons started to shoot. Scar threw a smoke bomb, clouding everybody's vision except our own. The goons were shooting wildly into the smoke when we had already jumped out and were coming up behind them.

They started dropping as the five of us gutted them from behind and there were now few enough that we didn't need the smoke. This really was too easy, and just to be sure Scar pulled out his gattling gun as the rest of us stood behind him to not be shot by the raw destructive power of the two handed weapon. Then we watched as he unleashed it on the henchmen who were now surrounding nothing and getting gunned down. At first this seemed like a harder fight, but it turned out much easier. When they were all dead we were about to start celebrating when a slow clapping sound could be heard. They walked out into the light and I recognized them. Two men and one woman. One man was tall and lean, the other was muscular like Scar. The woman wasn't as pretty as me though. It was the woman who was clapping.

They wore masks over their heads with hair sticking out in the back. The redheaded tall man spoke. "You've made it this far, but it ends here. Now you face........" They took off their masks and posed dramatically. "The Enforcers!"

I recognized these guys, but they probably didn't recognize us. They were Hebijo shinobi, but last I heard they'd flunked out in the last year. I decided to speak to them. "I remember you guys. You flunked out because you couldn't give up your morals and emotions to be able to complete missions sucessfully."

This time the woman spoke. She had dark skin and dyed her hair purple. "And I recognize that deadpan and emotionless way you talk. You're graduates." The five of us nodded. "Oh, delicious. We've learned things not taught at that crummy school. This should be interesting." She stepped over the dead bodies, letting them leak blood all over the floor. The three drew their weapons, only giving me seconds to analyze them. The tall man had a bow staff, the muscular man had gauntlets, and the woman had dual katanas. They were really confident as our two groups started to fight.
