Time for a new fate to come in!
That is because we now know the next special set coming to the Pokemon TCG! This new special set will be called Paldean Fates and will feature several Shiny Pokemon!
Paldean Fates Details

Paldean Fates will be similar to the past special sets like Hidden Fates and Shining Fates. This special expansion will allow you to get special variants of your favorite Pokemon as Shiny Pokemon. There will be over 130 Shining Pokemon to collection. Some of them include the likes of Shiny Pikachu, Shiny Ceruledge, Shiny Tinkaton, Shiny Dondozo, Shiny Tatsugiri and more.
Even some of your favorite Tera Pokemon will be release as Shining Pokemon. Some of them include Charizard ex, Forretress ex and Espathra ex. Though, you could even some some Ancient and Future Pokemon ex also be released as Shining Pokemon.
What is even more exciting is that some Shining Pokemon you be release with special Illustration Art rare cards like Mimikyu.

Release Details

Paldean Fates will not be release normally to other TCG sets. Instead booster packs for Paldean Fates will only be release in special collection boxes and Elite Trainer Box.
Below are the collection boxes that you can find for Paldean Fates along with the release date.

  • Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (now available for preorder at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.): Includes 11 Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates booster packs; two copies of an illustration rare-style promo card featuring Mimikyu, with one showcasing the Pokémon Center logo; and various gameplay accessories.
  • Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box (available Jan. 26, 2024): Includes nine Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates booster packs, one Shiny illustration rare promo card featuring Mimikyu and various gameplay accessories.
  • Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Tech Sticker Collection (available Jan. 26, 2024): Includes three Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates booster packs; one Shiny promo card featuring Fidough, Maschiff or Greavard; and one large corresponding sticker for personalizing laptops, tablets and other tech devices.
  • Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Mini Tin (available Feb. 9, 2024): Includes two Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates booster packs, one sticker sheet and one art card matching the tin, featuring Maushold, Smoliv, Tinkatink, Finizen or Flamigo.
  • Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Tin (available Feb. 9, 2024): Includes four Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates booster packs and one Shiny Pokémon ex promo card featuring Tera Charizard ex, Great Tusk ex or Iron Treads ex.

Paldean Fates will be based on the Japanese TCG set Shiny Treasure ex. This set will be release in Japan on December 1st. Meanwhile, Paldean Fates will be release in the US and worldwide on January 26th. The English release will be made up of cards from Shining Fates ex and other cards that got cut from Paradox Rift and other Japanese promos.
