I'm very interested in a communitylocke! I think I have rather decent writing skills myself. Maybe I should do a storylocke...

Anyways, Black 2 update. I stormed Cheren's gym with my level 12 Valerian (Purrloin) and level 13 Alara (Oshawott). I went in with a plan. Valerians ability was unburnden, so I gave it an Oran berry so that he would eventually outspeed everything. Then, I used the convenient X-Attack and X-Defend the game has given to you by this point, and I would Fury-Swipe everything to death! Muhahaha. Too bad Fury Swipes hated me, and decided it's accuracy was 25% instead of 80%. Still, I burned through his Patrat, and Lilypup was all that was left. But of course, crits happened, and Valerian fell. A manly tear was shed before I sent in Alara. He used Workup and I got in a Watergun which looked to be a three hit KO. Next turn, he used Tackle and dropped me to 1/3 health before Alara's Oran Berry kicked in, and once again, Watergun for the win. At this point Alara could survive another Tackle, so decided to pray to the nuzlocke gods that there would be no critical hit, and hit the fateful button. Luckily for me, Alara won the speed tie, so he never got a chance to hit me. Onwards, to the next gym, to conquer Unova!

From what I understand, a communitylocke is an event where nuzlockers create runs (comics, stories, screenshot, video, ect) around a certain theme. We could do a vote or something to decide what that theme is xD

But we could always go by our own rules for a communitylocke. Maybe we each have to try a different set of in-game rules, or have a particular theme for naming Pokemon.


OR those of you with wifi, we could do an egglocke ;D

Basically, a communitylocke is where participants Nuzlocke a game from the same set of games (A FR/LG communitylocke, for example, or a D/P/Pt communitylocke) all following the same rules. The players are then awarded points based on events in game, such as positive points for catching Pokemon or beating important trainers or negative points for losing a Pokemon. This then adds a competitive aspect to it. There are checkpoints, in which every trainer has a couple of weeks or a week to get to the next checkpoint.

I'd love to propose a B/W communitylocke, if people are interested? I can set up the rules and such.

I think I saw a video of that with a Randomizer...It was a Randomizer that worked on all games R/B/Y to B2/W2 and would change almost everything. For one thing, all the completely CAPPED Pokemon names were now normal punctuation, the wild Pokemon were random, and even the battles were random. Including the names. Like, you could be fighting your rival and get "Butler Susan" in Leaf Green.

I think a randomizer communitylocke would be intersting, since we'd all have very different runs. I would probably have to use an emulator for it but I think it'd be fun! I'll give you guys updates on my Noxiouslocke whenever I decide to pick it up again. I'm scared of the electric gym.

So Bat finally evolved into a Crobat. Took him long enough. I lost Bug to a rather quick Doduo but caught a Grimer (Sludge)! I think I'll be ready to face Wattson soon!

EDIT: Aaaaaaaaand I lost :( Ah well. I took out three of Wattson's pokemon with Bat alone, and then his Magneton decided it was going to Crit him. Sludge was too low of a level to combat him. I guess I should have trained all of them more. It feels bad to lose a Nuzlocke like that. Welp, Noxiouslocke is over! Now for another typelocke.

If anyone's curious how my Emerald Nuzlocke is going...

Everyone is now floating at around level 10, with the exception of Sylvia the Treecko and Leaf the Shroomish, who are each at level 14. Trick has evolved into a killer Dustox. I caught a Taillow named Windy and a Marill named Fizzy (both female); Windy is on my team, but Fizzy was killed while I was trying to train her up, before I even hit Roxanne. Now that Sylvia and Leaf have ripped her team into little pieces, I'm now about to move onto Brawly! Also, I've started sketching out some things for my comic, which means that it may actually get made with time!
