Digital (BW2) - Nuzlocke Update


I battled Cheren for my first badge and lost Rollo and Wadd, due to two critical hits. Char came in a finished up the job.

Continued my way towards Virbank City and headed towards the Virbank Complex. Caught a Magnemite and called it Magneto

Just leveling up my Pokemon now before facing against Roxie.

Tenacity's Emerald Nuzlocke Update: Dewford Gym

I haven't captured any new Pokemon since my last update, and due to this I figured there was no way I'd beat Brawley unless I did some major grinding. So I went all the way to Slateport to fight the trainer's there, using the Exp. Share to bring Nincada up to speed. Eventually, Lightyear evolved. I went to go fight Brawley, and we easily won with Lightyear spamming Double Team and Fury Cutter.

I'm hoping to catch something decent on the next few routes, but I refuse to catch anything that I'm not 100% happy about. All I'm finding is Poochyena at the moment. *Sigh*

Onto Mauville!

EDIT: Tenacity's Emerald Nuzlocke Update: Mauville + Lavaridge Gym

Mauville: was pretty tough. I used SHEDINJA in this fight, but only because I knew that Lightyear nor Forrest could take Wattson on by themselves. Forrest pulverised Wattson's Voltorb and Electrike, SHEDINJA took out Manectric but fell to Magneton's Supersonic. Forrest then did the rest of the dirty work and won us the battle.

Lavaridge: A lot happened in between Mauville and Lavaridge - I caught a Numel (named Camilla), a Spinda (named Rascal) and a Swablu (named Belle). Anyway, Camilla completely swept Flannery's Numel and Slugma without difficulty. Rascal was sent in against Camerupt, and was one Strength away from defeating it when it became infatuated and could not move, leading to death by Overheat. Forrest came in to avenge him with a Leaf Blade. Finally, Camilla took down Flannery's Torkoal with a Magnitude.

I guess you could say.

Yeah. D: It's a shame because he would have been great against Norman, but I didn't plan to use him much on my main team anyway.

Now that Rascal is gone, I'm kind of concerned about what to use on my team next. I don't really want to use multiple types too much, so that rules out everything in the Desert because I already have a Ground type in Numel, a Grass type in Grovyle and a Bug type in Ninjask. I'm going to fish up a Carvahna after Norman and use it as my Surfer, but past that I don't know what I'm going to use. Perhaps the Castform or Kecleon you get before Winona. Hmm.

I would say Kecleon because of Color Change and the fact that it can learn Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, AND Brick Break via TM if you manage to get a hold on those.
