The instance where it's hurled at the Land of Heat and Clockwork better shows it-half of it is still covered in colorful life, as she left it when she went Trickster. Also, the AVATAR OF TRICKSTERDOM is a girl. Girls were the only mergers, so it's unambiguously female.*
